After the Super Bowl madness in New Orleans and with the thick of Mardi Gras approaching, now is the perfect time to step away for a quick weekend getaway or even just a day trip to recharge. Whether you need a little beachside relaxation, a spa retreat, or a foodie adventure, here are five easy escapes from the city that will have you feeling refreshed and ready to take on the next parade.

1. Ocean Springs, MS – Coastal Charm & Art Scene
