We were connected with Richard Hebert on accident when we unexpectedly had to move from our home. We are an average American household. We needed financing. We wanted four bed rooms, a pool. We wanted the house we were leaving behind, in the same neighborhood, which seemed impossible, but Richard made the impossible happen. First, he listened and didn’t judge. He said more details the better, so we told him everything. Every bump we hit (and we hit a lot of them, fast and hard) Richard was there to encourage, relax, and be a voice of reason. Our situation was unique, but Richard didn’t bat an eye. When we couldn’t buy a house at first, he helped us find a place to rent. While he knew we weren’t able to buy just yet he check in on us. He didn’t treat us like a sale, he treated us like humans (something that’s hard to find these days, especially when money is involved). He was kind, supportive, and accommodating a working schedule. Day or night, quite literally, Richard was there to answer questions and field concerns. When our plans changed, when our needs shifted, Richard was ready to go with the flow. If Richard wasn’t available, his right hand woman Liz was there and ready, with just as much knowledge as Richard. We had never purchased a house in Louisiana, but Richard made it easy. He knows his stuff, and he can explain it in away the average person can understand (because let’s be honest, real estate language can be hard to understand). In the end we shifted back to our original plan, and Richard found us a house better than we could have imagine, one that felt like home the first night we slept there. If you want a real estate team who are dedicated, passionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely amazing humans look no further than Richard and Liz. They will make your dreams come true, because the best thing they gave us was peace of mind over the last seven months. We couldn’t imagine navigating our home buying experience with anyone else, and that comes from the bottom of our hearts.
