Inspired by a chance meeting on Friday with local artist and new friend Dago (check out his instagram here), I'd love to share some of my favorite spots for Pop-up Art Markets here in New Orleans!

South Carrollton Ave & S Claiborne Ave
Held on the last Saturday of each month, Marsalis Harmony Park brings together artists and makers with a vast array of handmade jewelry, paintings, and crafts. You’ll also enjoy live music and great food trucks! -
Arts Market New Orleans in City Park
Goldring/Woldenberg Great Lawn in City Park
Taking place the second Saturday of every month, this market is a beautiful outdoor event that highlights local artists and their creations in a relaxed, scenic setting. -
Frenchmen Art Bazaar
619 Frenchmen Street
Open daily from 7pm-midnight, the Frenchmen Art Bazaar offers an incredible variety of art from paintings to sculpture to textiles and jewelry. Grab a cocktail from any of Frenchmen Street's famed bars and stroll by the Frenchmen Art Bazaar any day of the week. -
Freret Street Market
Freret St & Napoleon Ave
An energetic mix of art, music, and food, this market pops up on Freret Street multiple times throughout the year. It’s a perfect spot to find unique New Orleans-inspired art and support local businesses. Catch the next market on Saturday, November 2nd from 11am-4pm! -
Piety Market at Hotel Peter & Paul
Hotel Peter & Paul, 2317 Burgundy St
Every third Sunday of the month from 12pm-5pm, Piety Market pops up in one of the most impressive venues in town–the great hall at Hotel Peter & Paul in the Marigny. Known for its laid-back vibe and quirky art, it’s a local favorite for finding original pieces and supporting small businesses.
Whether you’re a seasoned collector or just love browsing and being part of the community, these markets are a fantastic way to get immersed in the local culture.
